1 - 5 May 2014 is Mayday - the big welly-themed fundraising event for the charity that saves lives at sea.

RNLI volunteers rescue 25 people a week around Ireland - while proudly sporting the brightest of yellow wellies.  This Mayday, wear your wellies in support - raising funds to help train and equip Irish lifesavers.  Right now, we need volunteers for street collections in Dublin, Cork and all around Ireland.  If you can spare a few hours over the May bank-holiday weekend, we'd love to hear from you.  Call 01-8951800 or register online at www.rnli.org.
