The Irish Redhead Convention was a whacky idea dreamt up by siblings and proud redheads Joleen and Denis Cronin way back in 2010. What started as a friendly joke, became a party exclusively for redheads with weird and wonderful ginger themed events such as carrot tossing and orange lawn bowling.
Five years later, and the Irish Redhead Convention has grown into a Crosshaven village wide festival that celebrates everything to do with red hair. Run by a dynamic voluntary team, the Irish Redhead Convention 2014 promises to be an even bigger and redder event than ever before.
Since it’s inception, the Irish Redhead Convention has fundraised for the Irish Cancer Society, and this year will be no different. To date, we have raised over €15,000 for cancer care, research and support in Ireland.
This years event, which is due to take place from the 22-24 August 2014
So if you love your red hair and want a chance to discover your natural hair-itage, join us and hundreds of other natural redheads from all around the world, for the Irish Redhead Convention.
